It offers a game experience very similar to its predecessor, but with new buildings and much better graphics. Designer City 2's gameplay is very similar to the classic SimCity series. Players have complete freedom to build their city however they'd like, without restrictions or limitations. That being said, all the buildings and infrastructure needed for a successful city cost money, which players can earn by providing employment for the city's inhabitants.
